Welcome to Promo Doctor. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Promo Doctor application and services (the "Service"). By installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Service.
1. Description of Service
Promo Doctor is a Shopify embedded application that analyzes discount code performance, order data, and related metrics to provide insights about promotional campaigns, discount costs, and profitability.
The Service integrates with Shopify stores through the Shopify API.
2. Shopify Account Requirement
To use Promo Doctor, you must have an active Shopify store.
By installing the application, you authorize Promo Doctor to access certain store data through Shopify APIs, including but not limited to:
- Orders
- Discount codes
- Customers
- Products
- Order discount applications
This data is used solely to provide analytics and insights within the Service.
3. Data Usage
Promo Doctor accesses store data only to operate and improve the Service.
We do not sell, rent, or share merchant data with third parties.
The Service may temporarily store order and discount data necessary to generate analytics and diagnostic insights.
4. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect merchant data. However, no system can guarantee absolute security.
Merchants remain responsible for maintaining the security of their Shopify credentials.
5. Service Availability
We aim to provide reliable access to Promo Doctor, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
The Service may be modified, updated, or temporarily unavailable due to maintenance or technical issues.
6. Accuracy of Analytics
Promo Doctor provides analytical insights based on available Shopify data and estimated calculations.
These insights are intended for informational purposes only.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or financial outcomes derived from the analytics.
Merchants are responsible for making their own business decisions.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for illegal activities
- attempt to reverse engineer or interfere with the application
- misuse the Shopify API through the Service
Violation of these Terms may result in suspension or termination of access.
8. Termination
You may stop using Promo Doctor at any time by uninstalling the application from your Shopify store.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Promo Doctor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service.
This includes loss of revenue, loss of profits, or business interruption.
10. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms periodically.
When changes are made, the updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
